Sustainability Director, the ESG Taskforce met regularly and reported to the Board and ESG Committee. Over the past twelve months, the Taskforce has made significant progress in delivering the Group’s sustainability strategy, strengthening governance, monitoring and reporting processes to improve transparency, accountability and decision-making. Enhanced sustainability data and reporting have supported greater stakeholder engagement and more effective performance management across the business. Key achievements during the year included the completion of the Group’s second Double Materiality Assessment and the development of an outline carbon transition plan, providing a clear pathway towards setting and achieving science‑based targets (SBTs). These initiatives have strengthened the Group’s understanding of sustainability-related risks and opportunities and support its long-term growth ambitions. The Taskforce has also expanded sustainability training and engagement across operational and leadership teams, helping to embed ESG considerations into day-to-day decision-making. In addition, continued supplier engagement has improved sustainability performance across the value chain, ensuring sustainability remains a core component of operational delivery, business resilience and long-term value creation.
