Creating benefits through our social activities Social
Our commitment to social responsibility, including jobs and skills creation, underscores our belief that successful businesses flourish by uplifting and strengthening their communities. This ethos is deeply ingrained in our corporate culture and driven by our core values. We recognise our unique ability to create job opportunities at all levels, both now and in the future, as we lead the energy transition. We have two lead academy locations, in Sheffield and Borehamwood, and five satellite locations across the UK providing high-quality skills development to benefit the workforce and wider industry. We understand that our business success is intrinsically linked to the wellbeing of our employees and the communities in which we operate. This year, additional investments have significantly enhanced our activities related to health and safety, wellbeing, equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, early careers, community engagement, and professional development. Our approach fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment, essential for driving positive change. By prioritising the needs and aspirations of our employees, we make sure that our operations not only meet business objectives but also contribute meaningfully to societal progress.
