Strategy Our sustainability approach

At the close of 2024, we proudly launched our inaugural sustainability strategy. Building on the insights from our materiality assessment and aligning with the UN Sustainable Development

Under the three pillars we have identified nine priorities and set ourselves five targets:

This taskforce, comprising department leaders from across the business, conducted a series of collaborative workshops with subject matter experts from within OCU Group and sought guidance from external specialists, ensuring a comprehensive and well-informed approach. Centred around the pillars of Environmental, Social, and Governance, OCU Group has successfully crafted a robust strategy that positions us to contribute to a sustainable future. We recognise our role in delivering infrastructure that fosters long-term sustainable growth and ensures alignment with our clients’ goals. We have already made significant progress in implementing the strategy during the second half of the financial year, and these achievements will be detailed in the following sections.

To enable us to address these priorities and reach our targets, we have identified 27 commitments and developed a detailed action plan that sits behind this in order to deliver against these.
